ON-SITE FIRE FIGHTING WATER STORAGE

WATER TANKS

This technical project required the coordination of several state and federal agencies and consultant specialists during the design phase. The well located on the property could not provide adequate water supply for fire-fighting purposes and county required that prior to any further development of the property, an on-site fire-fighting water supply would need to be provided. After working with certified NFPA consultants, it was determined above ground tanks would be the best system to provide the necessary 87,000 gallons of water storage.

As an accessory function, the tanks were design with an additional 10,000 gallon capacity to accommodate the filling of the facility water truck utilized to water the outdoor and indoor equestrian arenas.
